Contact Hostel is calling on supporters to lace up their trainers and take part in the ‘100K in May’ challenge—a month-long fundraiser to help homeless teenage girls find safety, support and a brighter future.

Participants are encouraged to walk, run, or cycle 100 kilometres throughout May , raising vital funds for the hostel’s essential services. With Manchester facing some of the highest levels of youth homelessness in the country, Contact Hostel plays a vital role in providing accommodation and support to vulnerable young women—but with funding increasingly difficult to secure, events like this are essential to sustaining its life-changing work.

Supporters can track their progress, share their journey and connect with others through the event’s dedicated Facebook group . Whether taking on the challenge solo or as part of a team, every kilometre completed and every donation received will make a real difference.
