Step Up for a Cause: Contact launches new 100k in May Challenge

Contact Hostel is calling on supporters to lace up their trainers and take part in the ‘100K in May’ challenge—a month-long fundraiser to help homeless teenage girls find safety, support and a brighter future.

Participants are encouraged to walk, run, or cycle 100 kilometres throughout May, raising vital funds for the hostel’s essential services. With Manchester facing some of the highest levels of youth homelessness in the country, Contact Hostel plays a vital role in providing accommodation and support to vulnerable young women—but with funding increasingly difficult to secure, events like this are essential to sustaining its life-changing work.

Supporters can track their progress, share their journey and connect with others through the event’s dedicated Facebook group. Whether taking on the challenge solo or as part of a team, every kilometre completed and every donation received will make a real difference.
